I acknowledge and accept the following:

  • The details provided above (specifically the measurements and/or weights) are correct.
  • My shipment DOES NOT contain any dangerous goods.
  • Any machinery and/or engines, including but in no way limited to motorcycles, lawnmowers and generators must be drained of any oil, petrol or other liquids, appropriately packaged and have any batteries disconnected prior to collection by any carrier.
  • My Origin and Destination Details are correct.
  • A person will be available at the pick-up and delivery locations, unless the "Unattended ..." option is selected in the anywhere section.
  • Temando will not be liable for any lost or damaged freight, regardless of the conduct of the carrier. If insurance has been selected, the account holder may proceed with a claim for insurance via the Temando website. If insurance is not selected, Temando may seek a letter of disclaimer from the carrier for the purposes of the account holder's personal or business insurance (if applicable).
  • Temando shall not be liable for any additional charges incurred from the carrier resulting from unanticipated conditions. Examples of such conditions include but are in no way limited to extra charges for particularly large or heavy items which require crane hire or specific machinery or ferry charges for delivery to islands
  • Temando shall not be liable for any additional charges incurred as a result of the customer not using the Temando generated connote or using a manual connote (where one is generated) including any default upgrade to the carrier's premium service.
  • The values I have declared will be used to provide quote pricing and that if these details are incorrect I may be charged extra costs if incurred to Temando. Temando will charge an administration charge of $25 if an extra fee is to be billed to you or in the event of a refund, which is additional to any fees or charges which may be charged from the carrier.
  • Temando does not guarantee the reliability of the freight carrier services engaged.
  • Temando offers refunds in certain circumstances according to the following guidelines:
    • Temando will refund you in full if the service collection is delayed to the extent that it cannot be rebooked to a comparable service for its intended purpose;
    • If a fee has been deemed to be applied incorrectly to your account in accordance with our fee dispute procedure; and
    • If you request a cancellation of a service outside of 24 hours of a scheduled collection, prior to an attempt for collection.
  • Temando does not offer refunds -
    • If you have pre-purchased Temando credit, Temando will not issue a refund for any portion that has not been used once it expires or if you elect to close your account;
    • If the service delivery has been delayed to the extent that it is outside the estimated time of delivery (ETD). Delivery times are an estimate and do not form part of your contract of carriage. ETD is set by the freight carrier, please refer to their terms of carriage for more information.
  • At the time of booking, you agree to the terms outlined contained within this user and refund policy. If you don't agree, then discontinue use of the Temando system and do not finalise your booking.
  • All refunds and cancellation requests must be made in writing. Your request will not be considered valid unless you receive confirmation from our Customer Support team. The confirmation email or number given by the Customer Support team of Temando will act as a proof of the cancellation of service.

  • Temando reserves the right to modify any provisions of the user and policy without any notice to you.
